ORIGINALS FOR SALE

Gary creates very few drawings each year, most of which have already been sold. Very occasionally he will put an original on the market, usually through the Society of Wildlife Artists' annual Exhibition, or through a charity show or auction.

The highest price reached for one of his rare originals to date was for Soulmates in 2007 which sold for £16,500.

THREE GENERATIONS SHOW

WITH SPECIAL ARTIST FRIENDS, JUNE 2011

To celebrate the grand occasion of David Shepherd’s 80th year Gary has been invited to submit two originals to the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation exhibition at the Mall Galleries. One will be his very latest drawing, “Blaze” only just finished on May 3rd.  Apart from some original paintings by David other artists exhibiting include Mandy Shepherd, Emily Lamb, Carl Brenders, John Banovich, Craig Bone, Terry Matthews, Hazel Soan, and Andrew Stock.

The show runs from 7th-11th June 2011 in conjunction with the “Wildlife Artist of the Year” competition. Tickets to the private view on 6th June are available. Please email Gary if you can’t attend the show but are interested in either original.

BLAZE. Badger cub. £2,250. Drawn in 2011. Image size 180mm x 140mm. It is framed in an off-white chunky mount and hand finished waxed white frame that complements the drawing perfectly. The glass used is the latest, expensive non-reflective variety.

GORGEOUS TOO. Masai Giraffe calf. £3,500. Drawn in 2007. Image size 563mm x 190mm. It is framed sympathetically in a silver/gold frame with an off-white chunky mount. The glass is the expensive, non-reflective kind.
