DRAWN TO THE SOUL CHARITY PRINT
Drawn to the Soul is a very low limited edition of just 99 copies plus 9 APs. The image size is 73cm x 53cm... about the same proportions as 'The Charge'. Over 75 prints have already been sold in aid of Voice for Asian Elephants (VFAE) and Nature in Art raising £10,500 divided between them. The remaining copies are available to purchase at £225 in aid of the same charities. All profits go to charity (that's everything except printing, Paypal costs and p/p).
The original of this drawing, OLD TUSKER was donated back to the artist by an ardent collector of his art, with the owner wanting the world to appreciate it and is dedicated to the memory of Graham Frazer.
Gary spent over eight days carefully embellishing the 1990 original drawing to bring it up to date, before it went to its permanent new home at Nature in Art, the World's first museum dedicated to art inspired by nature. As he transformed the drawing so much, Gary changed the title to DRAWN TO THE SOUL, as that was the name of his 2010 retrospective show at Nature in Art. It seemed perfect.
Nine AP's and six copies of the Drawn to the Soul prints will be held back for sale at this charity show in aid of Born Free.
WELCOME TO GARY'S OFFICIAL WEBSITE
Gary is the UK’s best selling and most collectable pencil artist. He has sold over 112,000 personally signed and numbered wildlife art prints from 138 different editions. 128 of these limited editions have sold out - very few artists could make this claim. The remaining 10 editions are available from our shop. All with free worldwide delivery!
Over the years the huge demand for Gary’s prints has led to a lucrative secondary market, rewarding collectors with more than just the sheer beauty of his drawings. The first limited edition print “Green Turtle” was published in 1987 by Greenpeace and sold for £8.50. In recent years copies have changed hands for up to an incredible £3,500.00. Recently introduced embellished prints have smashed this record a number of times reaching as high as £6,700.00 for the 1993 Snow Leopard (the website banner).
Gary has always insisted he could not draw wildlife without giving something back to wildlife and other charities and you can keep up to date on how to help through this site. His last huge charity event in April 2016 raised over £303,000. To date through his drawings and prints over one million pounds has been raised to protect the wildlife he loves so much.
We hope you enjoy reading all the latest news and background on Gary’s art. You can watch him drawing in time lapse video, browse through his drawings and photographs in the galleries, learn more about the artist, watch short videos and read his blog. Gary's Facebook page provides contact with the artist himself.

"His drawing of two of our orphaned elephants, hangs in my house, and is one of my most treasured possessions. To me it is the work of a Master, not only accurate in every detail, but subtly portraying the character of the animals with deep sensitivity."
