HOW GARY "EMBELLISHES" A LIMITED EDITION PRINT

1 min 17 secs

This short video shot in timelapse shows Gary drawing for a couple of hours on one of his limited edition prints. This process of "embellishing" a print places the work somewhere between a limited edition print and an original.

Gary has embarked on this procress for his solo charity show in aid of EIA and Born Free's work to save elephants.

Almost 50 "embellished" limited edition prints will be on sale at his central London solo charity show April 18th (private view) open to the public free entry 19th-23rd April 2016. To bid on these prints watch out for the auction page in a few weeks.

AMAZING 1,000 DOLPHIN SUPERPOD!

1 min.

This breath-taking video was shot by Gary's partner Dave on a small speedboat about 50km off the Costa Rica Pacific coast. The sea was literally bubbling with action as more than 1,000 spinner dolphins raced, played and leapt over what was a completely calm surface.

You will see wildlife artist Gary Hodges with his camera (40sec) photographing the extraordinarily exciting sight. The voice is that of marine biologist Shawn Larkin from Costa Cetacea, who with his wife Vanessa had guided Gary and Dave to this amazing wildlife spectacle!

"WILD AT ART" SEQUENCE

1 min 07 secs

This is the wonderful opening sequence showing Gary with wildlife including elephants and orang utans and drawing in his studio in Ibiza, Spain.

"Wild at Art" is a film by David Felber of The Production Zone and presented by Rula Lenska. It was filmed in Kenya at the David Sheldrick Widlife Trust's Nairobi orphanage and in Tsavo National Park with interviews of Gary in Ibiza. You can see the timelapse of Gary drawing "Joy"  taken from this same film at How Gary Draws.

The full DVD of "Wild at Art" can be purchased for £10 + P&P from the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust's shop. All money goes to this heart-warming charity.
